Catalyst Groups

Catalyst Groups combine intense, effective exercise with fun.

In an effort to specialize, or just for variety, some Catalyst family members like to change their focus. We have specialized programs to address a wide variety of needs.

Many groups require only a CrossFit punch card or Unlimited membership to attend. Others, like Barbell Bettys, require a minimum eight-week commitment due to their longitudinal programming, and an Open Gym membership to complete the homework.

CROSSFIT LITE

CrossFit Lite is a 45-minute bootcamp-style workout. Emphasis on improved metabolism and fat burning. No skill or experience required!

 

IGNITE ENRICHMENT GROUPS

Ignite Enrichment Groups are training your brain! For all ages, Ignite Enrichment Groups combine challenging workouts with cognitive skill-building. Workouts include a CrossFit component (or CrossFit Kids) as well as training for memory, math, language, and other brain-focused tasks.

 

OBSTACLE COURSE RACING

Obstacle Course Racing Groups prepare you for the Muddy Moose, Tough Mudder, Spartan Race, Warrior Dash, and other extreme obstacle races. Get ready for rope climbs, crawling, sprinting, running, and lifting!

 

THE GREEN ARMY

The Green Army is a training program for CrossFitters who want to compete. Train for the Catalyst Games, The CrossFit Open and Regionals, or our other events, or just walk a higher line. This is a monthly membership; sign up and start anytime, or take time off whenever you want!

 

THE SWEAT FACTORY

The Sweat Factory is a sixty minute no-holds-barred CrossFit group. The locally-famous Tuesday Night Group is a sweatfest known for its intensity. Sometimes partner workouts, sometimes team, always hard but gratifying.

 

BARBELL BETTYS

Barbell Bettys is a two-level strength training program for women only. Level 1 Bettys includes basic barbell techniques (back squat, press, bench press, push press, deadlift, and good morning) and some base-level instruction on exercises like pullups and pushups.Level 2 Bettys includes instruction in the more technical “speed” lifts: the Clean, the Jerk, the Snatch, and their derivatives.
