“Randy” is a classic CrossFit benchmark workout consisting of 75 power snatches at 75 lbs (55 lbs for women), performed for time. It’s a high-rep, light-weight challenge designed to test your grip endurance, power output, and metabolic conditioning. This workout fits perfectly into a Boost block because it pushes you to maintain speed, muscular endurance, and aerobic power under fatigue. Expect your heart rate to stay in the anaerobic zone (80-90% of max HR) as you cycle the barbell efficiently. Go as hard as you can; take infrequent breaks; and get right back on the barbell before you really want to.
