Being mindful means feeling in control of your choices in the moment. That means knowing your HUNGER cues and your FULLNESS cues. Everything we do is now automated. Eating is like driving: we don’t think about the choices we’re making, we just do them automatically. The best way to improve your health and physique is to be more aware of what you’re doing:

  • Eat distraction-free
  • Take time to actually eat
  • Add more vegetables if you’re still hungry

There’s no magical trick to nutrition: it’s a practice. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to fall from one fad to another. You just have to keep practicing.
