WHY: By keeping the weight light you should be able to move continuously through this workout. Your lungs should slow you down before your muscle does. The goal is to maintain close to the same pace the entire workout. For some people this will mean working at a 8/10 level; for others it may be a 6/10. Your current level of fitness will determine what pace you can keep. The faster the pace maintained the more efficient your body is at utilzing oxygen. Push yourself to maintain the fastest pace you can without slacking off.
