“Death by Burpees”
1 burpee in the first minute
2 burpees in the second minute
Continue until failure.
Then, repeat the same pattern with pull-ups – athlete must remain on the bar until all pull-ups are completed each round.
WHY: this workout will test the mental and the physical. While this workout starts off with 1 rep, it progresses quickly. Before you know it you are completely out of rest time and working continuously to keep up. Following the burpee with unbroken pullups increases the degree of difficulty. Pullups are especially difficult when you’re tired as they require a lot of midline stabilization for good reps. Enjoy!
