Friends, this is a fantastic end to the 2016 Open. It’s also a very long goodbye. And here’s what I know about goodbyes:
1. Keep it as short as you can. This can literally turn into a 45:00 workout – it did for someone in 14.5. This is not the intent. If you aren’t sure you can keep it around 25:00, scale it. If there’s any doubt, ask yourself: can I do the first round of “Fran” unbroken at Rx? If not, scale this one.
2. Don’t do it twice. Seriously, this is a test of fitness. Go as hard as you can the first time. Need to go again? Book PT.
If you can’t make it tomorrow, no problem: we’ll be doing this at every group on Monday too.
Mat Fraser just finished in 8:06, but average workout times on this one were around 25:00 in 2014. Let’s keep this one fun!
