“300” was the movie that necessitated the training that led to the Certification that built the Journal. Mark Twight was with CrossFit then, and though his program (GymJones) split soon afterward, he’s still using the same philosophies he did then.
Most CrossFit gyms don’t penalize or reward with caloric restriction or ‘bonuses’ depending on workout wins and losses. Most don’t use only black-and-white photography on their site, write manifestos, and turn away more clients than they accept. GymJones isn’t a CrossFit gym. It’s no fun. But it’s still the fruit of a genius.
