The WOD #2 for the CrossFit Open is:

 Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 15 minutes of:
155 pound Deadlift, 9 reps
12 Push-ups
15 Box jumps, 24" box

THIS IS THE GREEN ARMY'S WEEK! Deadlifts? Yeah buddy! We're currently in fourth place in Canada (out of third by only a few points, thanks to Mitch's last-minute effort on Event #1!)

Below: James Cracknell. Won two gold medals in rowing and six world championships. Then he placed twelfth in the Marathon Des Sables – a marathon per day for five days, and then a double-marathon on the sixth – in the Sahara Desert. He's rowed across the Atlantic. Trying to cross the USA by bike, foot, rowing skull, and swim cap, he was hit on Route 66 by the wing mirror of an oil tanker at 75mph. His skull was shattered, but he survived (barely.) Now he's on the road to recovery. "I'm not mentally tough," he says, to the shock of the reporter on the BBC this morning. "I'm just mentally positive. I keep telling myself, 'wow, you're doing really great at this!'" He works to control his facial features AND won't allow himself to post negative stuff on his excellent blog.
