These folks are Crossfitting couple, Anna and Ed.  Tomorrow morning, they’ll both participate in their first VirtualMeet – a powerlifting meet judged by a panel of international judges, over the internet.  The meet starts at 8:30am (sorry, no 9am group tomorrow) – come and cheer!
Below – an awesome cheer from Shawn Cyr.  This was actually his second muscle-up ever, moments after the first one.


A great post on one of my favourite Crossfit sites: Crossfit Virtuosity.  From “Strong Is Why We Are Here”: If you believe the Theory of Evolution, then you must believe that our ancestors were the strongest and fittest among their peers. Thus each successive generation inherits the good, strong genes from the previous generation as the weak ones are weeded out. The phrases “only the strong survive” and “survival of the fittest” simplify this concept nicely.
