WHY: Usually our Wednesday workouts are purely aerobic, we work at a steady state for 30-40min. Today we will still be in a aerobic zone for much of the workout but the 2 min rest should make it possible for you to maintain a faster pace than usual. The goal here is to maintain the pace across all 4 sets of 5 min rather than starting out very fast and finishing very slowly. When we stay in the Aerobic zone for a long period of time our body uses fat as an energy source during the workout.Meaning, you burn more fat!
